MEMBER ADVISORY - NON-UNION TOUR OF "HAIRSPRAY" AT THE PRINCESS OF WALES
THEATRE IN TORONTO

Equity members are advised that the production of "Hairspray"* presented
by 'Broadway Across America' at the Princess of Wales Theatre (Toronto)
May 6 -11, 2008 is a non-union U.S. tour. 

Fees paid to performers in non-union productions often undercut the
minimum fees required in similar Canadian professional productions.

Canadian producers who engage Equity members under a negotiated
compensation package should not be undercut by low-paying, high-profit
rogue companies sapping box office dollars from our communities.

Equity members are encouraged to not support this production or purchase
tickets for any performance.
