Solo Show Weekend Intensive~
for actors & writers writing and performing a solo show!
Nov. 15 and 16/2008
The Beaumont Studios
316 W. 5th Ave. (at Alberta)
Vancouver BC.

This intensive weekend workshop will provide the essentials of what it
takes to create, perform and produce a one person show.

The workshop will explore the fundamental elements of a solo show,
structure and theory as well as providing practical writing exercises to
generate material, to build stakes in your writing and create dynamic
characters. We will explore writing exercises, improvisation, the
business of solo shows and tips for marketing and production. It is not
necessary to have anything written to attend, the workshop is designed
for you to generate material, just bring your ideas, pen and paper!

Dates: Saturday Nov.15 - 10am-4:30pm
Sunday Nov. 16- 10am-4pm

Cost: $200.00/ 20% Discount available for Equity members

MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP

Looking for help for that next audition?  This is for you!  Whether
you're a strong singer looking for feedback on new material, or a dancer
who needs some help for the singing call, our coaches will work with you
to help you deliver a fabulous performance.  Please come prepared with a
song, and you will be coached on technique as well as presentation in a
warm and supportive atmosphere.  Teens and adults are welcome; please
note that space is limited to 15 participants so that everyone can get
