STAGE MANAGEMENT/ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGEMENT

       
The Shaw Festival is currently accepting resumes for its 2009 season.

The Shaw is a major repertory theatre that produces works written during
or about the time of George Bernard Shaw's life (1856-1950).   The
company is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake and operates during the months
of February-November inclusive.  Each stage manager is generally
assigned two shows per season along with ancillary activities such as
public readings. 

All candidates should have stage management experience working in a
diverse group of theatres including those under the jurisdiction of
IATSE and AFM; should have exceptional communication skills and enjoy
working as a member of a stage management team of 12; should be prepared
to work in a pressure filled environment; and should be prepared to have
fun.

Stage Management at the Shaw report to the Production Stage Manager and
are considered to be part of the Creative Management Department. We will
accept resumes until the position is filled.:
