Additional information:
The Citadel Theatre's Artistic Director Bob Baker will be holding
auditions in Edmonton on Octboer 28 and 29. Send photos and resumes by
email with "Wizard of Oz Auditions" in the subject line to

Roles being cast include (all roles except 'Dorothy' are double cast):
vocal range information will be available soon. All ages listed reflect
the character age range, not the actor's age.
*       Auntie Em Gale/Glinda the Good Witch Age range  35-55
*       Uncle Henry Gale/Emerald City Guard Age range 35-55
*       Miss Almira Gultch/Wicked Witch of the West Age range 35-55
*       Professor Marvel/Wizard of Oz age range 45-65
*       Dorothy Gale age range 15-25
*       Male Ensemble,  experienced singer/dancers
*       Female Ensemble experienced singer/dancers
Must be available for the following dates:
*       Rehearsal begins in Edmonton Tuesday, March 24, 2009
*       Closes in Edmonton Sunday May 31, 2009
*       Possible option to extend to June 7, 2009.

Audition Format:
*       All participants will sing one solo song (your choice from the
play). Some will be invited to a dance callback.

Deadline for Submissions: October 23, 2008
