Deathwatch centers around three men in jail -- Green Eyes, Lefranc, and Maurice. It is a look into human nature under extreme conditions showing to what lengths people will go to survive and determine their own destinies.

Characters
 (Lead)   Green Eyes    Gender:  M      Age:  20-30 
 Green Eyes is an illiterate, muscled hulk of a man who rules the cell by virtue of his hyper-masculinity.

(Principal)   Guard     Gender:  M      Age:  20-40 
 We are open to various interpretations of the archetypal character of a Guard

Comments:
This production is intended to be an official Event of the Pride Festival. The play is to be marketed as a QUEER collective and we are therefore looking for submissions by actors who are comfortable being affiliated as such.

There is a copy of the play on hold at the Toronto Reference Library.

Both Equity and Non-Equity Actors can submit. Equity Members cast in this production will be engaged under the Guest Artist Policy Contract.
