NOTICE OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING FOR 2009-2010

Equity's 2009-2010 National Annual General Meeting will be held in Montréal, Québec.

Date: Monday, October 5, 2009 
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Venue: Dawson College Theatre 
Location: 2000 avenue Atwater, Montreal, Quebec

All Equity members are encouraged to attend. Apprentice, provisional and probationary members are also welcome. 

The NAGM will be divided into two segments. The first portion will take care of necessary business items and kept as brief as we can reasonably manage. It will include: 
*	verbal reports from the President and Executive Director, including a review of recent Association activities and updates on current initiatives
*	receipt of the Association's audited financial statements
*	appointment of Equity's auditors for the coming year
*	member resolutions*

The second half of the evening will include an all-candidates presentation for the Québec region, and conclude with an open forum: 
Everything you wanted to know about Equity*
(* but were afraid to ask)

A panel of Councillors and staff will answer questions you have about all things Equity. As with prior AGM panel sessions, material will be compiled into a Q&A summary for publication, so that members across the country can also share in the discussion. If you would like to submit a question to the panel in advance of the meeting, or if you cannot attend, you can do so by sending it in an email to councilcontact at caea.com or by mail to the National Office, marked to the attention of "NAGM Panel."

We hope that all local members are able to join us for what promises to be an informative evening, and an opportunity to connect with Councillors from across the country, your regional advisory and candidates, and of course, your local colleagues. Refreshments will be served.
