Job Specifics:
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the General Manager is the driving force behind the operations and activities of the company. Key areas of responsibility include:
*       project management, budgeting, audience development, fundraising, marketing, community development, site maintenance, creating , implementing short and long‐term plans
*       leading more than 200 volunteers  committed to TUTS success.
*       Responsible for hiring and supervising a small year round staff and a much larger contingent of staff and contractors during the production period.

Requirements:
* University graduation in the Arts,  combined with at least four years of professional experience * Excellent writing skills; grants, marketing prose and external communication * Knowledge of regional and national theatre is an asset *Able to effectively represent the organization to artists, funders, sponsors, and government leaders.

Compensation Type:
Salary commensurate with experience
