Talk Is Free Theatre in Barrie, ON is inviting e-mail submissions for
its upcoming Canadian Premiere production of Adam Guettel's song cycle,
MYTHS AND HYMNS, to be directed by Adam Brazier. This will be a two-week
engagement from March 13 to 26, 2009, with performances in Toronto on
March 23 and in Barrie on March 25 and 26.

We're looking for four (2 male and 2 female) strong singers/actors with
outstanding musical training. Must be comfortable holding difficult
harmonies and be able to handle quick study. Age and ethnicity are not
important.

Male one: high tenor. Soulful R&B tone. Must have dynamite high regester
with a clear and full falsetto.

Male two: high baritone or tenor. Great ear for harmony. Strong
character actor.

Female one: Strong female R&B belter with the ability to flip into a
clear folky head voice.

Female two: folk/musical theater soprano. Strong ear for harmony.

with attention to Arkady Spivak, Artistic Producer at arkady at tift.ca.  

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
