Upper Canada Playhouse in Morrisburg, Ontario is accepting applications
for a Production Assistant for the 2009 Season. Applicants must have
proven strong stage carpentry skills & experience, proficiency in all
technical production aspects. Responsibilities include: assisting
Technical Director with set & props construction, show calls & all
production aspects. Will work in conjunction with Artistic Director &
Technical Director. Dates of Employment: May 11-September 6, 2009.
Compensation: commensurate with skills level & experience. Upper Canada
Playhouse is a small to mid-size professional theatre operating under
the jurisdiction of Canadian Actors' Equity Association. It produces a
4-Show Summer Season & Holiday Family Show with each show running 3 1/2
weeks & an ample pre-production period between each turnaround.
