Audition - Ship's Company Theatre - Parrsboro, NS
Artistic Producer, Pamela Halstead, will be seeing actors in Halifax on
January 29/30 for the following multiple roles:
Kip/Verlaine in Ferry Tales and Minnie in Ivor Johnson's Neighbours
Female - to play 35 - 55 - Must be able to sing
Patrice in Ferry Tales and Pearl in Ivor Johnson's Neighours
Female - to play 18 - 25 - Must be a strong singer (will see Non-Equity
members as well for this role)
Candidates chosen to audition must prepare a song and contemporary
monologue as well as read from the scripts for the audition. Show
scripts will be available in the waiting area on the day of the
auditions.
Interested candidates should forward a resume and if possible a photo
via email to phalstead at shipscompany.com. Only candidates chosen to be
seen will be contacted with appointments.
Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
