Course Description
The basic tools that Stanislavski believed were necessary to keep an
actor 'active' on stage will be the subjects of this class. Our
Stanislavski Toolkit will include: analyzing text for meaning and
character, defining objectives, breaking scenes down into units,
choosing compelling and varied actions and identifying obstacles. Using
selected scenes we will look at the tools that will help you stay active
and focused and out of your own way on stage.
