ITA EXTENDED FOR ONE YEAR (2009-2010)

The Independent Theatre Agreement (ITA) has been extended for one year. 

The 2009-2010 ITA does not include any changes to the minimum fees and
material terms of the current Agreement except for a small financial
package which increases minimum stand alone fees and other monetary
amounts (additional services, overnight rest penalty, driving allowance
and per diem etc.) by 3%.

The per diems for Theatre for Young Audience (TYA) productions will also
increase by almost 4% as part of a three year plan to bring TYA per
diems into sync with regular touring per diems by 2012.

The new ITA minimum fees for 2009-2010 will apply from August 24th, 2009
to June 27th, 2010. The 2008-2009 ITA minimum fees will stay in force
until Sunday, August 23rd, 2009.

Information on the ITA minimum fees will be available online as soon as
possible. Hard copies of the ITA minimum fee table booklet will be
available as soon as printing allows.
