Additional information:
Persephone Theatre is accepting submissions for the provincial Youth
Tour productions of Lig & Bittle by Elyn Quan & Jared Matsunaga-Turnbull
and The Shape of a Girl by Joan MacLeod.  Please submit a resume and
headshot. 

Contract Dates: Jan 29-Apr 23 2010

Audition Dates: Aug 20-22 2009

Roles

Narrator 1/Lig:  Large stature and great energy.  Will require an actor
with a wide range of skills.  Physical theatre and clowning an asset.
Could be male or female. 
Narrator 2/Bittle:  Small stature and great energy.  Will require an
actor with a wide range of skills.  Physical theatre and clowning an
asset.  Could be male or female. 
Braidie:  15 year old teenage girl.  Will require an actor with
excellent grasp of text.

Productions are performed in rep and actors will be used in both
productions For the men, guitar or other instrument skills will be an
asset.  For men and women, singing experience will be an asset.
Persephone Theatre encourages actors of all ethnic backgrounds to
submit.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
