2009 Big Swing Charity Golf Tournament

Get out your clubs for the 13th Annual Big Swing Golf Tournament on
Wednesday June 24, 2009 on the Masters Course at the Lionhead Golf &
Country Club. The event is presented by the Actors' Fund of Canada and
DGC Ontario and is made possible through the support of many sponsors
and volunteers. More information available at
http://actorsfund.ca/bigswing/ The Big Swing golf tournament has staked
out its claim as the premier entertainment industry golf event in the
Toronto area. Now in its 13th year, the tournament attracts members of
Canada's film & TV production community to some of the GTA's finest
courses. Please book early as this event will sell out. Fees are $165
per player, with discounts available for corporate sponsors.

Tournament proceeds support The Actors' Fund of Canada, the lifeline for
Canada's entertainment industry. Industry members in film and
television, theatre, music and dance can apply for emergency financial
aid from the Fund, which has helped over 10,000 entertainment industry
workers recover from illness, injury or other circumstances causing
severe economic and personal hardship since it was founded in 1958.

The money raised by the tournament helps to pay for the Fund's emergency
financial aid program for entertainment industry workers and their
families, demand for which has doubled over the past seven years as
Canada's entertainment industry has weathered some tough times.
