Burning Passions Theatre's "Shaw in the City!" is accepting submissions
for "Candida" by Bernard Shaw, directed by Laurel Smith, at the Fringe
of Toronto Festival, July 1-12, Innis Town Hall, University of Toronto. 

Candida - a well built, well nourished woman of 33, with the charm of
youth and motherhood.

Eugene Marchbanks - a strange, shy, willful, poetic youth of eighteen,
slight, effeminate, with a delicate childish voice.

Miss Proserpine Garnett ("Prossy") - a lower middle class typist of
about 30, neatly but cheaply dressed, not very civil, but sensitive and
affectionate.

Reverend Alexander Mill ("Lexy") - a young gentleman curate, a
conceitedly well intentioned, enthusiastic, immature person.

Auditions are Fri. March 20, 6-10pm and Sat. March 21, 2-6pm.
Rehearsals begin in May.  Deadline:  WEDNESDAY, MARCH 18, by email to
