Runs July 1st to July 12th, 2009.

GIG Productions (producers/writers of The Lord of the Rings: The
Musical: The Musical! - Best of the Fringe, Patron's Pick at the 2007
Fringe), is looking for actors (strong singers/dancers, good comedic
abilities) to perform in an original musical at the 2009 Fringe of
Toronto Festival.

We are looking for the following roles:

Rex Maverick (Male): An actor who doesn't realize he's no longer famous.
He is annoying and arrogant, yet charismatic and has a good heart.

Mei Ling (Female): A young woman who is strong-willed, feisty, and
initially hates Rex. 

Mark Snack (Male): A young do-gooder. He is enthusiastic, sweet, and in
love with musicals.

Sui Fung (Female): The shy, mid-twenties teacher who is desperately in
love with Mark.

The Mid-Level Official (Male): He tries to be authoritative, but is
deeply insecure. He is jolly and materialistic.

* We need some Asian actors for certain roles, but all ethnicities are
encouraged to apply.

Equity members participating in this production will be signed to a
Fringe Agreement and all net proceeds will be divided equally among the
