Job Opportunity: General Manager
The Old Trout Puppet Workshop Society, Calgary
The Trouts are seeking a General Manager to start by September 2009. 
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, as well an ability and eagerness to work in a highly creative, avant garde, multi-disciplinary environment.  He or she will be joining the company at an important time in its history, and will help to guide our productions and talents onto the world stage.
Qualifications:
*       5 years management experience in the non-profit sector. Arts management, production scheduling and tour coordination are desirable skills.
*       Proficiency with computers and office programs including accounting software
*       Ability to work unaccompanied in the office, and show results to the Board of Directors in a timely manner
*       Excellence in writing and editing
*       Ability to handle a number of priorities and meet deadlines
Applicants will be assessed according to their administrative qualifications, as well as their personal energy and enthusiasm.  Salary will be commensurate with experience.
