The Stirling Festival Theatre is a 13year old professional theatre
company located in the village of Stirling in eastern Ontario. It is a
registered no-for-profit charity. The theatre functions year round with
a combination of its own productions and drop-in shows. To learn more

The Technical Director reports to the Artistic Director and the Managing
Director. The Technical Director oversees the creation of professionally
made theatrical productions while maintaining safe working conditions.

Applicants must have proven strong stage carpentry skills & experience,
proficiency in all technical production aspects & excellent
communication, planning, scheduling &
supervisory skills. Responsibilities include: set construction and
supervision of builds, liaise with designers, supervising drop-in shows,
researching/sourcing & purchasing of materials & equipment, assisting
with all production aspects.

Salary commensurate with experience.
Position to start: January 2010
