THEATRE SMASH PRESENTS "A BOY CALLED NEWFOUNDLAND" BY GRAEME GILLIS
CASTING:
1) Newfoundland, a 15 year old boy. A loner who is scared of being
alone.
2) Eveyln, 16, the love of his life. She is Quebecois (accent
needed).
3) Brigid, 18, the middle sister. She's got "an uncomfortable jones"
for her brother.
4) Arley-Rose, 19. The oldest sister. She has a beautiful singing
voice.
Newfoundland Willow, called Flounder by his family, is an awkward,
fifteen-year-old cadet. Newfoundland thrives on stability, order and
rules. His life revolves around his family, his careful traditions and
his parents' family business - a self-published newspaper called The
Romantic Times. When his mother returns home from her second honeymoon
without her husband, Newfoundland and his sisters Brigid and Arley
struggle to recreate the home and family they once knew.
