Oversees all production and logistical aspects of main-stage and
second-stage productions, education outreach productions, Opera Studio
activities, and annual fundraising & special events.

Coordinates with technical director, all contracted production
department heads, creative & technical services and equipment providers,
as well as all OLO administrative and marketing teams.

Plans productions for both long-term and current seasons. Creates and
maintains production budgets and oversees pay lists for artists and
production personnel. Prepares and administers contracts, letters of
agreement, customs forms for artistic and production personnel.

Manages and co-ordinates in-town and out-of-town arrangements for
principal players, directorate and design teams. Co-ordinates audition
inquires/requests/schedules for all productions including Chorus. 

Liaises with volunteer coordinators to identify and fill support
positions.

Operating out of the Arts Building in Ottawa, the Production Manager
also manages theatre facility & rehearsal rentals, and building needs.

Opera Lyra Ottawa is a not for profit organization dedicated to
producing and presenting opera in the National Capital Region of the
highest quality and to promote opera as an art form, making it
accessible to as large a segment of the population through community
outreach and education. Through these productions and programs, OLO is
committed to encouraging, nurturing and supporting Canadian artists.
