4th Line Theatre is an award-winning outdoor theatre company that
presents regionally-based, environmentally-staged, historical dramas.
Our performance venue is located on the Winslow farm, just outside of

Additional information:
Start date: Wednesday May 26, 2010
End date: Tuesday July 27, 2010
 (nine weeks)

Responsibilities:
* setting up and running rehearsal schedules
* keeping the 'prompt copy' of the script which notes the
   performers' positions on stage, script changes as well as
   the props and sound needed for each scene
* liaising with front of house staff
* cueing performers to go on stage
* cueing the technical crew to operate sound, etc.  
* arranging costume and wig fittings
* distributing information to other theatre departments
* ensuring the company's welfare and maintaining a good
   working knowledge of all relevant health and safety
   legislation and good working practice
* watching each show and dealing with any emergencies
* assisting the director during rehearsals
* communicating with cast and crew and theatre administration.

Skill Requirements:
* has experience or post-secondary theatre training
* creative, curious and passionate about theatre and ability
  to work in a team environment.
* extensive stage management experience and able to work under
   pressure.
* creative problem solving ability
* valid Ontario Driver's License,  clean driving abstract
* Car is an asset.
* Must enjoy working outdoors.
