Production Manager, Showboat Festival Theatre, Port Colborne Ontario

The Showboat Festival Theatre is currently searching for a candidate to
fill the position of Production Manager. The contract will start mid-May
and conclude in early September, 2010.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*       Supervision of all aspects of production
*       Assist with build, change-over and storage scheduling
*       Collection of Props/Costumes
*       Research, sourcing and buying of materials and equipment
*       Supervise and assist with set changeovers

REQUIRED SKILLS:
*       Thorough background in all aspects of technical theatre
*       Some carpentry and scenic painting
*       Excellent problem solving skills and a creative spirit
*       Proven management experience and good communication skills
*       Strong team player
*       Working knowledge of Health & Safety policies
