2010 - 2013 OPERA AGREEMENT RATIFIED BY MEMBERSHIP
-----------------------------------------------------------

The recently re-negotiated Opera Agreement with Calgary Opera
Association, Edmonton Opera Association, Manitoba Opera Association,
Opera Hamilton Inc., Opera Lyra Ottawa, Pacific Opera Victoria and Opera
Atelier was ratified by the affected Equity membership in a ballot count
held earlier today.

Members voted 98% in support of the proposed changes. The return rate on
the ballots mailed was 22.4%.

The negotiated changes will take effect July 1, 2010 and the new
Agreement extends to June 30, 2013.

Copies of the new Agreement will be available on EQUITYONLINE
(http://www.caea.com) and in hard copy as soon as updating and printing
allows.
