The Opportunity: Reporting directly to the Cultural Services Director,
the incumbent is responsible for the overall management, direction,
budgeting, planning and supervision of all productions, and technical
requirements of cultural facilities, within the City of St. Albert. The
Production and Facilities' Manager will work closely with the
International Children's Festival Manager, the St. Albert Children's
Theatre Artistic Director, the Visual Arts Coordinator, the St. Albert
Place Building staff and will directly supervise and manage the Arden
Theatre Technical Staff.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a minimum 5 years
previous experience working in a medium-sized regional theatre and/or
cultural facility and possess a high level of expertise and experience
in the area of production management with festivals and special events.
Post secondary education in the area of Technical Theatre is essential.
A valid drivers license, first aid certification and completion of a
security clearance are all requirements for this position.
Hours of Work: Standard hours of work will be 72 hours bi-weekly. There
will be requirements to work some evenings and weekends.
Salary: $67,148 - 81,694 per annum.
