Necessary Angel is currently accepting applications for the position of
Associate Producer.  Working with the Producer & General Manager, the
Artistic Director, the Touring & Production Manager, and the company's
Board of Directors, the Associate Producer will play a valuable role in
fulfilling Necessary Angel's mission to fully explore the theatrical
arts by creating original work that challenges assumptions and engages
multiple points of view, while seeking to provoke and astonish.  Founded
in 1978 and based in Toronto, Necessary Angel tours it's work nationally
and internationally.

Necessary Angel is committed to a collaborative working practice.
Shared areas of responsibility include but are not limited to: managing
the company's day-to-day affairs, production support, marketing and
publicity, outreach, fundraising, grant writing and reporting, and
managing the company's online platform and database system.

Qualifications: 
-Post-secondary education in arts, arts administration, or equivalent

-At least 2 years experience working for a professional arts
organization or equivalent (experience working for a performing arts
organization an asset)

-Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word,
Excel, and Outlook (basic Microsoft Access and Adobe Photoshop an asset)
-Strong written and verbal communication skills 
-Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently, collaboratively,
and meet deadlines
