Additional information:
The Canadian Opera Company is looking for 6 male and 3 female dancers
for its production of the opera Death in Venice by Benjamin Britten,
which has already been successfully staged all over Europe (Aldeburgh,
Bregenz, Prague, and Lyon). 

Director Yoshi Oida and choreographer Daniela Kurz are looking for
accomplished dancers with a natural presence.  Dancers should have a
contemporary/modern background with strong classical technique, a
refined sense of shape and line, the ability to improvise, and the
experience to deal with challenging and unpredictable stage conditions. 

The individuals cast in this production will be engaged on an Equity
contract under the terms of the Canadian Opera Agreement.  Equity
members will be seen before non-members.

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Audition Times: Individuals selected to audition will be contacted with
their audition time slot.  Auditions will fall between the hours of
10:00am - 5:00pm
