Additional information:
For its 65th season TUTS will present two popular family musicals and is
seeking applicants for the two Director positions.  In addition, TUTS is
requesting that interested Directors include in their submission
possible shows they would like to direct.

Reporting to the Managing Producer, the successful applicant will have
extensive experience in directing musical theatre and will be passionate
about mentoring young and aspiring artists. They will be comfortable
directing large casts, including CAEA artists working alongside
non-professionals. They must be willing to work in a team environment
and within specific budget parameters. The successful candidate(s) will
play a significant role in the selection of their creative team,
including the shows' Choreographer and Musical Director.

Potential candidates should include shows that fit with the TUTS
mandate.  For more information please visit www.tuts.ca. Shows
previously performed at TUTS prior to 2006 are eligible for
consideration.  Applicants are welcome to share any vision, rationale
and even budgetary comments to strengthen their recommendations. 

Additional Details:
o       Auditions scheduled for late February and early March, 2011.
o       Rehearsals begin mid-May until shows open mid-July.
o       Rehearsal period is approx 20 hours/week (weeknights and
weekends only)

Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity
form of contract.
