Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
One female - Early to mid thirties- to play the role of Sophie: a
full-figured, sharply intelligent house-hold employee of Nora and
Philip.  Sophie can be cast any ethnicity.

One male to play three roles:
Philip:  46, a man's man.  Robust and full of life, he is a carpenter
and a flirt.
Hendrik:  Late thirties.  The funeral director of the town.
Conservative and caring.
Max : 65, Nora's agent.  Jewish, kind, and loyal.
Must be a versatile actor capable of switching characters easily.  Must
be comfortable with tasteful nudity on stage.

Additional information:
Auditions will be held in St. Catharines 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the
day of the 19th.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
