Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement: Carousel
Theatre for Young People encourages submissions from all members of the
diverse community in which we live.

Additional information: Carousel Theatre for Young People's Artistic
Director Carole Higgins will be holding General Auditions in Vancouver
on May 26 and 27 for the 2011/12 Season, which includes the following
home productions:

The Wizard of Oz
November-December 2011
@ The Waterfront Theatre
Cast of 10 musical theatre performers
* note some roles have already been cast

Aesop's Fables
February 2012
@ The Waterfront Theatre
Cast of 4; special skills include playing musical instruments

A Year with Frog and Toad
March 2012
@ The Waterfront Theatre
Note: this is a revival, and there are no roles are available at this
time.

As our General Auditions are meant to be introductory in nature, actors
who have auditioned for us within the past three years are not eligible
for submission. We also do not accept agent packages. Actors who have
worked with Carole before need not submit for the general auditions and
are invited to submit for specific productions

Submissions for General Auditions must include a headshot, resume and
cover letter. Please note that we do not accept submissions by e-mail.
All submissions should be clearly marked as Equity or Non-Equity and
sent to:

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
