Vertigo Theatre's Artistic Director, Mark Bellamy, will step down at the
end of the 2011-2012 season after eight years.  The Board of Directors
is seeking a new Artistic Director to build on the artistic growth and
success that the organization has already achieved.

Vertigo Theatre's mission is to be a leader in developing, producing and
presenting plays based in the mystery genre, and plays for young
audiences, while providing a performance home for other organizations.
It produces two series - Vertigo Mystery Theatre and Y Stage - with
annual attendance of 60,000. The annual budget is $2.4M.

The Search Committee is seeking a proven leader who will be able to
clearly and passionately articulate the vision and distinct dual
artistic mandates of the organization.  He or she will enjoy working in
a collaborative environment, be committed to the principal of mentorship
and training, have a sound knowledge of production, conflict resolution
and budgeting processes, and have the willingness and knowledge to take
a significant role with both marketing and fund development.
