Red Deer College is currently recruiting for the position of  Theatre
Performance and Creation Instructor.  Duties include: Preparing and
instructing classes in a combination of any of the following areas -
Acting, Directing, Improvisation, Voice and Speech, Play Analysis,
Physical Theatre, Devising Theatre, New Media, Theatre History, or
Business in the Arts; potential opportunity to direct a main stage or
studio or TYA (Theatre for Young Audiences) production; teaching,
researching, creating or managing in other areas of specialization as
appropriate to the candidate's strengths; attending department and
curriculum meetings as required; supervising/advising student
involvement and special projects; attending field trips as required;
potential opportunity to conduct study tours to world theatre centres;
ongoing planning and curriculum review as appropriate.

Qualifications:  Master of Fine Arts or Master of Arts preferred;
demonstrated past post-secondary teaching experience; industry success
as a Director/Creator; multi-disciplinary experience or related art form
practice an asset.
