Additional information: Persephone Theatre are holding auditions on May
31, June 1 and possible call back on June 2 for the following roles in
the production of "A Christmas Story".

'The Old Man', Ralphie's Father - 30s/early 40s
'Miss Shields', Ralphie's teacher - 25-65

KIDS (ages listed are for the characters, not necessarily the actors
age)
Ralphie - 9 years old
Randy, Ralphie's little brother - 6 years old
Flick, Ralphie's friend (M) - 9 years old
Schwartz, Ralphie's friend (M) - 9 years old
Esther Jane Alberry, a girl at school (F) - 9 years old
Helen Weathers, a girl at school (F) - 9 years old
Scut Farkas, a bully (M) - 9/10 years old

The Persephone Theatre production dates for "A Christmas Story" are:
November 22, 2011 to December 7, 2011 with a possible extension to
December 24.  Rehearsals begin November 1, 2011.  Please submit a
headshot and resume by the submission deadline May 13, 2011.  Children
auditioning:  Please list any plays that you have been in or acting
classes that you have taken, either in school or elsewhere, as well as
plays that you have seen (does not have to be just at Persephone).
Children: please include your age and height on your resume.  Electronic
submissions can be sent to admin at persephonetheatre.org (pdf ONLY) or by
mail to Persephone Theatre, Attention: Carol Affleck, 100 Spadina Cres.
E, Saskatoon, SK S7K 0L3.  You may also drop off submission packages to
the Remai Arts Centre, home of Persephone Theatre, 100 Spadina Cres E,
Saskatoon, Attention Carol Affleck.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be
engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring
your membership card to the
audition.
