THE 39 STEPS adapted by Patrick Barlow, from the novel by John Buchan The 39 Steps rehearses Sept. 23 - Oct. 12  with a performance run Oct. 13-16.
Note: Male cast members double as cast for THE SMOKEY MOKES by Rick Merrill, a short play that serves as the opening act. RICHARD HANNAY: 40, tall (6'), dark, handsome and on the run. British accent ANNABELLA SCHMIDT / MARGARET / PAMELA: 20s/30s, one actress playing three beautiful women.  German, Scottish and British accents. CLOWN 1:  one actor plays multiple characters, extensive physical comedy. Scottish, German and various British accents. CLOWN 2:  one actor plays multiple characters, extensive physical comedy. Scottish, German and various British accents.
 Actors will be asked to prepare sides from the chosen plays.   .
Halifax and Toronto actors please specify role of interest and submit headshot and résumé by Thursday, May 12, 2011. Equity members and New Brunswickers will be given priority.  Unless otherwise specified, actors cast in these productions will be engaged under an Equity contract.  Only those chosen for an audition will be contacted.
