Additional information:
The core responsibilities for this full-time position will be to provide
the vision and direction for the Shumiatcher Sandbox Series including
programming the series as well as providing mentorship and support to
the artists participating in the series. In addition, the Artistic
Associate will provide artistic support, in concert with the Artistic
Director and CEO, to the productions on the main stage with a view to
maintaining and enhancing the high artistic standards of the Globe.
Reporting to the Artistic Director and CEO, the Artistic Associate will
also have primary responsibility for commissions, dramaturgy and new
work development for both the main stage and second stage.  The Artistic
Associate will liaise with the Theatre School Director on hiring
directors for theatre creation programs in the theatre school and may
also have some involvement in the Actor Conservatory which takes place
every two years. The Artistic Associate may also have opportunities to
direct productions on the second stage and main stage in future seasons.

Globe Theatre is Saskatchewan's largest performing arts organization and
is Canada's only theatre-in-the-round.
