BOY:  The character is approx 6 years old and is from Sub-Saharan Africa (Please note this is the character¡¯s age, and not necessarily the actor¡¯s age.  Boys between the ages of 4 years and 10 years will be considered)

Rehearsals (part time schedule) begin December 22, 2011 and performances run January 21, 2012 to February 18, 2012 (between 4 and 8 performances per week). Dates are subject to change.

Please submit a headshot and a r¨¦sum¨¦. Please include plays you have appeared in, acting classes you have taken in school or elsewhere, and/or plays you have seen. Please include age and height and note ACTRA and CAEA status. Submissions are due September 6th, 2011.

Selected candidates will be asked to prepare a short poem and potentially other material to be provided.  The script contains mature themes and will be made available in advance for anyone interested. A detailed rehearsal and show schedule will also be available.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
