Toronto singing calls for Rainbow Stage's production of  Cats.  We are seeking two lead singers.  All performers must be comfortable with some ensemble dancing and possess excellent singing technique.  Submit headshots and resume by email to:

Actors selected for an audition time will be notified, in advance, by email.

We strongly encourage performers of all ethnicities to submit.

GRIZZABELLA  - Singer (adult cat)
Vocal range: Mezzo Soprano (F sharp - Belt E) 

 
She must be able to express determination, pride, dignity, and tragedy. 

 *Performers wishing to audition for the role of Mukustrap must be available to attend the 9:30 am dance call*

MUNKUSTRAP - Singer who moves extraordinarily well (adult cat)




Vocal range : Baritone/Tenor ( F sharp - G)
 
He must be able to express  masculinity (but not machismo), pride, strength, intellect, charisma of a leader, and tenderness.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
