Additional information:
Adam Underwood and Andrea Donaldson facilitate a one-hour playwriting
session presented as part of the promotion for their Toronto Fringe
production of "TYUMEN, Then." 
FREE for CAEA members and "TYUMEN, Then" ticket purchase required for
non-equity members.
In the session, playwrights of all levels will be guided through a rapid
play-making process. Every participant will begin writing a brand new
play - an excellent opportunity for up and coming theatre-makers.

One day workshops: August 1 & 2
This workshop offers a rare and exciting opportunity for professional
actors to experience Theatre Gargantua's critically acclaimed method of
creating imagistic, physical, music and theatre.    

RATES: $95 or $75 for Equity Members
WORKSHOP 1: August 1: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.          
WORKSHOP 2: August 2: 1:00 p.m.-5:00p.m.     

Submit a CV by July 27th. Resumes are not a considering factors for the
workshops, they are only reviewed to provide the workshop facilitators a
better understanding of the group participants to design the best
possible workshop for the unique group of artists. Theatre Gargantua
workshops are in no way related to our productions or auditions.

Additional information:
Participants will be instructed in Theatre Gargantua's distinctive style
of creation, including training in movement, voice, and text exploration
& creation. Working closely with Theatre Gargantua's core creative
ensemble, actors will be given tools to develop original movement and
vocal compositions, and will learn how to integrate these creations with
text.

4-Day Gargantua Intensive Artist Lab - July 26-29th
Rate: $375 - Equity Discount Rate: $280

Led by Artistic Director Jacquie PA Thomas and Associate Artistic
Director Michael Spence as well as long time core member Diane Niec.

Additional information:
This four-day workshop offers a rare, intensive exploration of the
creation model of Gargantua's highly physical theatrical style.  During
the four-day lab, artists will have the opportunity create original work
using different technological tools.

Space is limited. Please submit a CV to info at theatregargantua.ca with
the subject: "4 day lab submission" by July 20th. Resumes are not a
considering factors for the workshops, they are only reviewed to provide
the workshop facilitators a better understanding of the group
participants to design the best possible workshop for the unique group
of artists. Theatre Gargantua workshops are in no way related to our

The workshop will be 5 hours per day for four consecutive days.
