INDEPENDENT THEATRE REVIEW COMMITTEE RELEASES EQUITY MEMBERSHIP SURVEY
ANALYSIS

The Independent Theatre Review Committee (ITRC) announces the release of
an executive summary providing a high-level overview of findings from
the Equity member survey on small-scale theatre. This survey was
conducted from February 28 through March 29, 2011. The survey report can
be found at http://www.caea.com.

This executive summary only addresses responses to the closed-ended
(multiple-choice, agree/disagree, etc.) questions. The ITRC is currently
in the process of analyzing thousands of responses to open-ended
questions on the member survey. The Committee has also recently received
the results of the engager survey, and is in the process of analyzing
that data as well. 

Over the next few months, the ITRC will be using all of this data - in
addition to reports from CPAG meetings and other data collected earlier
- to review Equity's governance policies and make recommendations for
policy changes or amendments to Council.
