EQUIFLASH - B.C. ARTS FUNDING RE-EXAMINATION

Some time ago, the Province of British Columbia made monumental cuts to
arts funding in that province. Significant amounts of funding came from
gaming revenues and there is now a re-examination under way to review
how this money (and how much) is distributed to the not-for-profit
sector, including arts and culture. 

The Alliance for Arts and Culture is providing information on this
process and encouraging everyone in BC, particularly those who
previously received grants from this program, to make submissions to the
review committee. We are providing you with the link to their site
below. The link provides substantial background information including a
template for submissions.

We are encouraging everyone in the performing arts community in British
Columbia to participate in this review.
