*This contract starts January 30, 2012 at Chemainus Theatre and moves to the Gateway Theatre, finishing April 28th, 2012

This play takes place in the summer of 1955.  All Shook Up is inspired and features the music of Elvis Presley.

Roles:

NATALIE: Early 20's.  A young mechanic.  She's more comfortable in greasy overalls than a dress.

CHAD:  Mid 20's.  A motorcycling, guitar playing, leather-jacketed roustabout.

JIM HALLER: Middle aged.  Natalie's unkept, widowed father.

SYLVIA:  35'ish.  The no-nonsense owner of Sylvia's Honky-Tonk.

LORRAINE:  16 years old.  Sylvia's teenage daughter.  She is smart, pretty and a total romantic.

DENNIS:  Early 20's.  An awkward young man who aspires to be a dentist.

MISS SANDRA:  Late 20's-early 30's.  Smart and attractive caretaker of the town's museum.

MAYOR MATILDA HYDE:  Middle aged.  The town's very conservative mayor.

DEAN HYDE:  18 years.  Military boarding school graduate who never disobeys his mother.

SHERIFF EARL:  Middle aged.  Man of few words and loyal to the mayor.

Also looking for MALE AND FEMALE ENSEMBLE
