Iphigenia in Taurus

The Canadian Opera Company is looking for 10 male and 10 female dancers
for its production of the opera Iphigenia in Taurus by C.W. Gluck.  

Choreographer Philippe Giraudeau is looking for accomplished dancers
with a natural presence and strong acting ability. Dancers should have a
contemporary/modern background with strong classical technique, a
refined sense of shape and line, the ability to improvise, and the
experience to deal with challenging and unpredictable stage conditions.
They must also have experience with partnering.  Contact improvisation
will be required of the male dancers. 

The individuals cast in this production will be engaged on an Equity
contract under the terms of the Canadian Opera Agreement. Equity members
will be seen before non-members.

Audition Times:	Individuals selected to audition will be contacted with
their audition time slot.  Auditions will fall between the hours of
10:00am - 7:00pm
