Ethno-cultural mandate or ethno-cultural casting statement:
urban ink productions is a professional theatre company that creates
develops and produces new works which celebrate and bring together
different cultural and artistic perspectives and inter-racial
experiences.

Additional information:
We are seeking an experienced male dancer/actor who can play late 30's
to mid 40's for the key role of "The Dancer", a chameleon like
trickster, for a production workshop and 2012 premiere. The role
requires strong dance (a la Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire), contemporary
movement and excellent text skills. The role requires a dancer/actor who
comes from or identifies as Aboriginal or culturally diverse.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
