Additional information:
The Canadian Opera Company is looking for male actors for its production
of the opera Orfeo ed Euridice by C.W. Gluck.

For staging purposes these roles will be played by tall performers, the
actors will be playing young men and must be between 5"10-6'0" tall.
They will be onstage throughout the opera and will act as silent
"servants of the stage".  They should have good memory and be
comfortable with concentrated, controlled and repetitive movements.
They should have experience with movement and dance.  The role involves
some physical activity.

The actors will need to be available to begin the evening of Tuesday,
April 5, 2011.

The individuals cast in this production will be engaged on an Equity
contract under the terms of the Canadian Opera Agreement.  Equity
members will be seen before non-members.

Audition Times: Individuals selected to audition will be contacted with
their audition time slot.  Auditions will fall between the hours of
11:00am-2:00pm

Location:  Four Seasons Centre - 145 Queen Street West

Deadline for submissions:Thursday, March 31st, 2011

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity
members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of
contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the
audition.
