REFERENDUM ON INCREASE TO BASIC DUES - TELEPHONE AND INTERNET VOTING OPENS

Internet and telephone voting for the 2011 Dues Referendum is now open.

Equity members will want to make an informed decision. Equity's Council has provided detailed background information in the Fall 2011 issue of "Council Link" available at EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com/EquityWeb/NewsAndEvents/News/2011/DuesReferendum/Default.aspx) along with a variety of other support materials.

Equity President Allan Teichman has posted FAQ information, including an entry on "What will happen if the 2011 Dues Referendum doesn't pass?", on his "Council Connection" blog page linked from EQUITYONLINE (http://www.caea.com/EquityWeb/NewsAndEvents/News/2011/DuesReferendum/Default.aspx).

Council wants to hear and answer members' questions. President Allan Teichman will host a series of online and teleconference forums regarding the Dues Referendum on November 14 (7:00 p.m. in the Atlantic, Central & Pacific time zones) and on November 21 (7:00 p.m. in the Eastern & Mountain time zones). Executive Director Arden R Ryshpan will also be on hand at all member forums. *  November 7 - Telephone and Internet voting opens

*  November 15 - Call National Office if voter kit not received

*  November 25 - Deadline to mail paper ballots
*  December 8 - Voting closes
