The Chemainus Theatre Festival is accepting applications for the position of Apprentice Stage Manager for their first show of their 2012 Season "Harvest" by Ken Cameron. 

Contract Dates: December 19, 2011 - February 11, 2012

Primary position components:
-Apprentice Stage Manager working with Equity Stage Manager -Full-time, term employment with hourly wage. -Eligibility for Equity credits.

Qualifications: 
-Intention to become a professional CAEA Stage Manager. -Post-secondary education in theatre arts-related study. 
-Strong organizational and people skills.
-A good knowledge of stagecraft, technical theatre, and rehearsal procedures. 
-Experience and resourcefulness in handling emergencies. -Tireless enthusiasm, with an attitude toward training.
