Additional information:
The contract will start in early May and conclude in early September,
subject to change. 

In 2012, the Blyth Festival presents a repertory summer season of four
Canadian plays, one studio play, and our annual Young Company project.
The repertory season takes place in Blyth Memorial Hall, a municipally
owned 444 seat theatre. There are two rehearsal halls, one of which
functions as a studio theatre, and ample backstage space for repertory
changeovers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

*       Hire seasonal production team
*       Liaise with designers/directors
*       Costing of productions
*       Supervision of production team
*       Prepare production schedule
*       Oversee production budget and adhere to same
*       Weekly report on budget expenses to date


REQUIRED SKILLS:
*       Thorough background in all aspects of technical theatre
production
*       Excellent problem solving skills
*       Proven management experience and good communication skills
*       Strong team player
*       Experience with purchase orders and financial reporting
*       Working knowledge of Health & Safety policies
