Casting in Toronto for Vancouver Premiere of Confessions of The Other
Woman

Dancer/Actor (Indigenous or Intercultural)
 for urban ink Productions' Vancouver 2012 Mainstage show co-produced by
Visceral Visions, The Vancouver Playhouse in association with The
Shadbolt Centre for the Arts

We are seeking an accomplished male dancer/actor who can play late 30's
to mid 40's for the key role of "The Dancer", a chameleon like
trickster, for the production workshop and 2012 premiere of Confessions
of the Other Woman written by Valerie Sing Turner co-directed by Diane
Roberts and Gerry Trentham.

The role requires strong dance (a la Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire),
contemporary movement and excellent text skills.

The Dancer' is a chameleon/ trickster type character who weaves in and
out of the main character Eve's world leading her sometimes towards
truth and sometimes into fantasy. Confessions is a play that
incorporates dramatic and poetic text, MGM-style dance with contemporary
movement and some video images drawn from the musicals in the era.

Production Dates: Jan 15th-March 17th
Auditions will take place on Friday November 4th 12-3pm at The Theatre
Centre, Toronto
