Gateway Theatre seeks a new Artistic Director (AD) to take up the
position on April 1, 2012.

Gateway Theatre, now in its 27th season, is a welcoming and inclusive
regional theatre for Richmond and its surrounding communities.
Encouraging participation and cultural diversity, Gateway strives for
excellence and leadership in the development and production of live
professional theatre and programs that connect the community.  This is a
senior position that works in partnership with the current General
Manager (GM). The co-equal positions of AD and GM each report directly
to the Board.

The AD will work in partnership with the GM to manage all theatre
activities.  The AD is responsible for the planning and execution of all
artistic aspects of the organization to support its vision, mandate,
values and core programs which include a Main Stage series, a Studio
series, Scene First Play Development program, the Academy for the
Performing Arts, Satellite companies, mentorship, and community
connections.
