Globe Theatre is accepting resumes for "MIDSUMMER [a play with songs]"
by David Greig, Music by Gordon McIntyre, directed by Michael Scholar,
Jr.
MIDSUMMER is the story of a great lost weekend of bridge-burning, car
chases, wedding bust-ups, bondage miscalculations, midnight trysts and
self-loathing hangovers in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This play is NOT to be confused with Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's
Dream."
Casting the role of:
BOB - 35. A hapless, petty thug. SCOTTISH DIALECT. SINGING AND GUITAR
SKILLS. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SASKATCHEWAN BASED PERFORMER.
Rehearsals start September 24th, 2012; the show runs October 18-28th,
2012 (with a possible holdover to Nov 4), as part of the Shumiatcher
Sandbox Series.
