EQUITY COUNCIL ELECTS PRESIDENT AND OFFICERS FOR THE 2012-2015 TERM

The national Council of Canadian Actors' Equity Association has once again elected Allan Teichman, Councillor for the Stage Management region, to serve as Council President. Allan will serve for a three-year term, December 4, 2012 to November 2015. Allan may be contacted at president at caea.com or by phone/mail to the National Office (see contact information below).

The President is joined by the following Officers: 

* First Vice-President: Kerry Davidson, Councillor for British Columbia and the Yukon. The 1st Vice-President serves as the "Advisory Coordinator," responsible for assisting the Council Advisory Committees to effectively carry out their responsibilities. * Second Vice-President: Aaron Willis, Councillor for Ontario. The 2nd Vice-President serves as the "Member Liaison" whose purpose is to facilitate interaction between Equity members and Council. * Secretary/Treasurer: Evan Klassen, Councillor for Eastern Opera. The Secretary/Treasurer for ensuring the integrity of Council's documents, and to see that all Council documents and filings are accurate and timely. Equity's Council for 2012-2015 is comprised of 22 Councillors from 13 regions across Canada, and meets 10 times per year to handle governance of the Association on behalf of its members.
